Greetings from Heartland JET Alumni Association,
All new JET's and 'short-listed' candidates are invited to attend the Kansas City Q&A Seminar on Friday, June 20th and Saturday, June 21st. So, if you're reading this, you're invited and congratulations.
Details will follow, but there will be a Welcome Reception on Friday evening, a full day of informative lectures and seminars on Saturday and your first Uchiage Party, Saturday evening at Sushi Gin, a short drive from the main venue, Johnson County Community College, 112th and Quivira, Jo Co, KS.
Please reserve this weekend and prepare your questions. There will be workshops on Team Teaching, Learning Japanese (in several levels) and Surviving in Japan.
All presentations are conducted by Heartland JET Alumni Association (HJETAA) members who have considerable experience, from just-returned to 15 years in-country.
Lunch will also be served.
This event is sponsored jointly by HJETAA and the Consulate General of Japan at Chicago.
